Zipped-Up Ice Packs

An easy way to make ice packs is to fill small zip-lock plastic bags with wet gauze and then freeze them. These ice packs are especially useful for providing anesthesia before injections in children or when anesthesia is needed in "tight quarters" (eg, near the eyelid).
