Editor's Note - September 2013
Have you visited Consultant360 lately? If you haven’t, now is a good time to take a look. Over the past few months, we have been working hard to create an interactive Consultant community. As the new managing editor, let me take this opportunity to give you a behind-the-curtain sneak peek of the new web experience.
Consultant360.com is now truly a multi-platform design, and can easily be navigated in a web browser, on a mobile phone, and on a tablet. We’re the new go-to site for breaking news, industry updates, and practice management strategies. We feature live coverage of conferences (next up: the American Academy of Family Physicians’ Scientific Assembly, September 24-28, and the Primary Care Cardiometabolic Risk Summit, October 18-20). We’re already home to several medical how-to videos and we’re working with physicians to soon add expanded podcasts with insider perspectives on featured case studies. And, as always, we highlight our current and past issues and have devoted sections for reader favorites including Photoclinic, Dermclinic, What’s Your Diagnosis?® and What’s The Take Home?® And don’t forget our CME options!
The Consultant360 experience includes liking us on Facebook (facebook.com/consultant360), following us on Twitter (@Consultant360), and sharing your photos on Instagram (#Consultant360). We often host web-only photo challenges, so it really does pay to stay in touch.
In short, Consultant360 enhances the Consultant experience. It is the web version of our established print brand and helps take the clinical experience to a new interactive level. How can you help? We want to hear from you. We already know that primary care is an ever-evolving and rapidly expanding field, and the best way to grow is to learn from one another. When you read a story, take a minute to leave a comment. Have a burning question? Send it to editor@consultant360.com and we’ll help start a discussion. And, as always, we welcome photo submissions and case reports.
